Submission Guidelines

In order for posts to be accepted by The Writers Guild for this blog, submissions must be

  • From a UC Student, Alumni, or Faculty
  • No more than 2500 words. This is hard cut off - if your submission is 2501 words, it will be rejected.
  • Applicable in one or more of the following categories:
    • What it's like to be a student writer
    • Craft of writing and/or writing advice
    • Reblog and response to another writer/critic/professor's ideas on writing or literature
    • Book/Fiction review
    • Updates and reflections on Guild activities
If you have an idea for a category you think might be appropriate to this blog, you can submit it along with your article.

Submissions should be sent to UCWritersGuild@gmail.com, with the text in the e-mail (not attached).
